The 16th of March was another miracle day in the Shire. The wedding catering angels worked their magic on the Friday morning, blessing us all with a perfect reprieve from the thunderous lead up.Deux Belettes provided a stunning stage for the day. As one our favorite venues, its every Francophiles’ dream as it transports you straight to the heart of Provence chic.
The bride and groom opted for our most popular cocktail style menu “You & The Chef,” starting with a grazing table of Mezze Dips, Cheeses, Cured Salmon Gravlax, Crispy Prosciutto & Pancetta, Artichokes, Marinated Olives and so forth. Canapés were circulated for an hour & a half. Then the gourmet BBQ provided the Piece de Resistance, where guests visited Chefs Julie & Simon for an abundant selection of items cooked to order. The Rosemary Skewers of Halloumi, Zucchini & Caramelized Lemon were a particular hit, so too the Baby steak Sangas and the Pear, Fennel, Whitloof & Rocket Salad.
A truly beautiful day to accompany a very beautiful couple & their gathering. Congratulations Sherri & Matt
